UIL Choir Announcement!

On Tuesday, the WJHS Choirs attended the Middle School UIL Choir Concert & Sight Reading Contest in Carthage.  Each choir performed three concert songs for a panel of judges and then performed a brand new song, received that day, (this was the “Sight Reading” process) in front of a second panel of judges.  (This is a very difficult task to prepare for!) 

Both of our Choirs received straight division 1 ratings from ALL of their judges, earning them “Sweepstakes” trophies!...What’s even better news?  WJHS Choir now has… 20 consecutive years of UIL Sweepstakes!
