Whitehouse ISD is committed to providing students, staff, and visitors with a safe environment. Due to increased Safety Requirements for school districts issued by the State of Texas, Whitehouse ISD has switched to a new Emergency Management Platform for Volunteer Applications and the background check required for volunteers. Our district offers a variety of activities for family members, community members, and business partners to choose from when volunteering. Complete and submit a volunteer application, and upon approval, you will receive instructions on the next steps.
PLEASE NOTE:
- The name on your application MUST match your government-issued identification card, including your full legal name.
- Current WISD employees and substitutes are not required to complete the volunteer background check.
- Once approved, volunteers are cleared for one (1) calendar year from the approval date.
- Provide a valid email address to be notified of the status of your application and for future communication.
- All information collected on the application will remain confidential within the volunteer program, and we ask that you not discuss your results with campus staff members.
- Third-Party Vendor Notice:
- WISD contracts with Raptor, a third-party vendor, to complete a criminal history check on volunteers.
- An authorization and content form is included in the application.
